Food delivery worker died after struck by vehicle in Sunnyside

Police reported a delivery worker using a scooter died of injuries after being struck by a vehicle. It happened before 5:30pm on 43rd Street and Skillman Avenue in Sunnyside. Police reported the scooter made a u-turn when struck by the vehicle.

The driver remained on the scene and continued to cooperate with police while the investigation is ongoing.
