Flushing and Queens Village man busted for sexual assaults

Police arrested Zhongbo Xu, 24, homeless in Flushing on Monday and charged with sexual abuse, harassment and assault of three women. The incidents were reported between April 8 and 10 in Flushing involving three victims from 18 to 30 years old. 

On April 11, NYS police of Wilton in Upstate arrested Rajesh Kumar, 33, of Queens Village for sexual abuse in the first degree, a class “D” felony. 

On April 6, 2023, at about 10:45 p.m., Troopers received a complaint of unwanted sexual contact. The investigation determined while on a mass transit bus in Wilton, NY earlier that day, Kumar reportedly had forcible unwanted sexual contact with the victim.  

Kumar was arrested at SP Wilton and processed. He was arraigned at the Wilton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash or a $20,000 bond.

Police are advising others to come forward if assaulted by these two suspects.
