Fire resulted injuries in Queens and Nassau

FDNY reported a fire at a home in Whitestone. This is on 20th Road at the location near 149th Street. The fire started around 4pm in the attic. EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

As for Nassau County, firefighters reported a basement fire at a home on Hilltop Drive West near Linden Blvd in Great Neck. This was a second alarm when it started on Saturday around 3pm.

EMS reported injuries.

The cause of fire is under investigation for both incidents.
