Fire damaged one lot in Flushing

The FDNY reports heavy fire at a mixed commercial residential location in Flushing with multiple injuries. This is on College Point Blvd at the location, 44/49. The fire started this afternoon around 12:30pm and extended throughout the building. EMS reported over ten injuries including firefighters. As of now the fire is declared a fourth alarm.

Locals are advised to stay indoors in the area and College Point Blvd is closed for emergency personnel.

The fire continues to rage and firefighters are working on the scene.
