Fire at a home with one dead on Long Island

Firefighters are in Lindenhurst reporting a fire at a private dwelling with one dead. This is on Storz Place near Grand Avenue at locaton 8. This is in Suffolk County.

The medical examiner is working to transport the body to conduct an autopsy. EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

Firefighters are working on the scene.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
