Police reports a motorcyclist died on 73rd Avenue by 224 Street in Oakland Gardens. It happened after midnight when there was a collision involving an SUV. The motorcyclist identified as Carlos Guzman, 37 of Woodhaven died of his injuries. The driver, 50 year old female was driving a 2019 Toyota 4Runner. Police reported the motorcyclist hit the SUV while turning on 73rd Avenue from 224 Street. Ongoing investigation. This is the fourth death on the Labor Day alone.
