Ex boyfriend suspected in fatal shooting of woman in Queens

She was a young woman who moved to New York to escape an abusive ex-boyfriend down South, and now police believe that ex-boyfriend followed her to New York to kill her.

“They took someone away from me who was my best friend,” Dashanna Donovan’s friend told PIX11 News. “It’s a lot to take in,” she added.
