End Corporate Welfare Act introduced in NYC

Local politicians gathered today to introduce a new plan called End Corporate Welfare Act which will stop giving public resources.

This came after Amazon H2Q was stopped from setting up in Long Island City due to $3 billion dollars tax breaks.

The campaign is people over corporate welfare which is introduced by Julia Salazar and Ron Kim.

The plan is to focus more on using taxpayer funds for public assistance such as affordable housing, health care, welfare and schools.
