Driver dead after hitting a tree on the LIE westbound

Police closed off the Long Island Expressway westbound by Kissena Blvd reporting a single vehicle accident fatality. It happened around 4am when a single driver hit a tree and died at the scene. Police reported the 20 year old male driving a Subaru lost control and the investigation continues.
