Domestic violence in Glen Oaks resulted off duty cop arrest

Police were called to 256 Street and Union Turnpike on May 14 around 9pm reporting domestic violence. A woman called for harassment and stalking but after more than 5 NYPD vehicles including unmarked closed the intersection on 256 Street and 80th Avenue, further investigation reported an off duty cop threatened and menaced his wife with a gun. The first report was made on March 1 by the wife after another one yesterday. The off duty cop was arrested after 2am when he was located. He was suspended without pay pending investigation.
