Dispute turned into stabbing at the public housing in Kew Garden Hills

The NYPD reported a dispute erupted between two males over a female inside the NYCHA public housing, Pomonok in Kew Garden HIlls.

The incident was reported on Saturday around 4am on Jewel Avenue near Parsons Blvd not far from the local precinct.

EMS transported both males to a local hospital.

The woman was not injured.

Detectives recovered the knife at the scene and didn’t disclose the details leading to the incident.

This was the fifth stabbing incident in NYC before Sunday.

Pomonok is one of the largest public housing units in Queens.

Charges will be outlined by the Queens DA’s office this week.
