Dead body found on side Of NYC expressway NYPD

A dead body was found off the side of a New York City expressway Tuesday morning, police said.

The body was found by a driver who had pulled over near Exit 2 of the Clearview Expressway in Queens around 9 a.m., according to an ABC 7 New York report.

The identity of the victim has not been released pending family notification, police said.

The city's medical examiner will determine the official cause of death, police said.
