Dead body found in South Richmond Hill

Police reported a dead body of a 27 year old identified as Pawandeep Singh was discovered inside an abandoned home in South Richmond Hill.
It was reported February 2 around 9am by a passerby on Lefferts Blvd.
The home has been abandoned for years and squatters were inside often come and go.
Police took three people from inside into custody. They are also homeless. They have not been charged. The city's medical examiner will work to determine the cause of death.
