Day 5 and so far high turnouts for early voting in NYC

Five days of voting in all five boroughs of NYC and the number of voters stands at 168,723 votes so far in the early primary voting.

With ranked choice prediction by experts, Andrew Cuomo is at 55% while the runner up Zohran Mamdani is at 45% in the Democrats primary race. Both are the only candidates leading with double digits while all others are at a single digit.

All this will change on Election Day, June 24 which is in-person voting at all locations in NYC.

The temperature for that day is 100 degrees, called Global Boiling Day by the United Nations Secretary-General back in 2023 after saying the global warming era is over.

Today the first candidate to vote in-person was Brad Lander while all others are still waiting for a good day including the current Mayor.

The Democrats so far spent $20 million with advertisements and another $7 million before Election Day far exceeds from the Independent and GOP parties.

Update - For the sixth day, the total early voting check in is 212,444 with Brooklyn on the top spot.
