Courtesy rule ignored on the BQE

BQE westbound before the Brooklyn Bridge, a car sideswiped a commercial truck and all came to halt.

Delays are back to Queens leaving drivers in a mess.

According to the NYPD, the rule is to move your vehicle to the side and police will not be on the scene unless someone is injured.

This means exchanging insurance information and waiting for the police if a tow truck or ambulance is required.

Even worse, how will the police reach the scene if needed?

Time to wise up and know the courtesy rule.

Let others live their lives, please.
