Coronavirus update for Saturday from NY NYC Nassau and Suffolk

Rhode Island is using traffic stops and door-to-door searches to find New Yorkers and enforce a 14-day self-quarantine order. Connecticut to follow soon.
3 members of NYPD including a detective died.
Presidential primary scheduled for April 28 moved to June 23.
Hospitals need to stop operating as single center, instead work together by transferring patients to stabilize. Use bag valve masks as ventilators.
Ventilators are going into the stockpile and will be distributed later as hospitals still have them.
Told local politicians to stop making a public outcry for self promotion.

Total tested positive in NY are 52,318 and NYC is 29,766 with 728 deaths.
7,328 hospitalized with 1,755 in the ICU.
Working to dedicate COVID only hospitals with three locations, Brooklyn, Bronx and Staten Island with 600 plus beds.

As of 10am today, 29,158 tested positive from 26,697 yesterday at 8pm with 517 deaths.

Bronx - 5,352
Manhattan - 5,036
Staten Island - 1,718

5,537 positive cases with 7 new deaths.
4,138 people test positive in Suffolk County.
