Cool It NYC locations announced

NYC Dept of Parks announced locations for Cool It NYC. On hot summer days, NYC will activate cooling features on a selection of Open Streets with dense tree canopy cover. These locations are identified as "Cool Streets". During heat advisories, NYC DEP and FDNY will install spray caps on the Cool Streets' hydrants, providing an outdoor cooling feature for the neighborhood.
