Congestion fee delayed due to judge s order

The plan to start congestion fee for NYC taxi and for hire drivers with apps such as Uber, Lyft and etc will not be effective starting January 1st, 2019 as planned.

A group of taxi companies and non-profits filed lawsuits against the city delaying the congestion fee for drivers in Manhattan below 96 Street.

The new court date is January 3 pending outcome of the judge's decision.
