College Point skeletal remains claimed by family member

The skeletal remains found in College Point yesterday near the shopping center belong to the husband who was missing from Corona, says his wife. However, the NYPD is still conducting the investigation awaiting for the final result.

Also, the medical examiner is still conducting the autopsy.

The wife says the husband's wallet was found near the remains and they believe it's him.

The husband has been missing since 11:18am on October 14, 2021 leaving his residence on Junction Blvd in Queens and has been missing since then according to the NYPD 115th Precinct.

Detectives are still working on the case to release the final report of the finding.
