Church goers passed around messages to make noise in Corona

A longtime fixture for the community, Our Lady of Sorrows no one can miss while passing by 37th Avenue in Corona to get to the Grand Central Parkway from Jackson Heights had a shocking incident on Saturday.

The church goers were notified that a crucifix was allegedly stolen between 1pm and 2pm during a first communion event from the altar. The video of the perps from the event seen in action were posted on the church's social media account and spread to all.

The same evening, the church's main pastor notified all the cross had been returned. Just in time for Sunday's mass.

Additional details were not provided by the church management and NYPD says the issue has been solved.
