Christmas in NYC tourism on decline mode

According to NYC Tourism and Conventions, for the year 2025, the initial forecast a decline and to this month projecting 12.1 million international visitors which is a 17% decrease from earlier projections. This is a result of a $6 billion loss for the state overall. Three main reasons are safety, rising costs in NYC and less retail items since most purchases are online.

However, the Rockefeller Christmas Tree remains the most visited location in NYC and continues to be a spectacular event.
