Carjacking investigation in Whitestone

The NYPD is in Clintonville Street reporting a carjacking incident. Police say two suspects, males, blacks followed a BMW and stopped the driver by 12th Road. Then one of the suspect displayed a weapon and pushed out the victim and passenger from the vehicle. The suspect took off with the vehicle toward the Cross Island Parkway northbound.

EMS is treating the victims on the scene.

Ongoing investigation.

Update and correction - From local residents, there were two incidents in Whitestone. The first incident was targeting an 18 and 19 year old. The second one at a 20 year old.

Both are at different locations in Whitestone.

The NYPD is not disclosing details due to ongoing investigation.
