Busy intersection robbery in downtown Flushing

The NYPD is at the merger of Kissena Blvd and Main Street in downtown Flushing reporting an armed robbery. Two suspects with one displayed a weapon approached a victim and removed personal belongings.

A witness says the weapon was pointed to the victim so as not to make any noise while removing the belongings soon notified the police.

EMS treated the victim on the scene.

Police are now searching for the suspects who took off on foot toward the Roosevelt Avenue subway station.
