Burglary investigation of a local eatery in Elmont

The NCPD reported a burglary of a local eatery in Elmont.

Detectives reported the incident was reported on January 11 around 3:30am on Hempstead Turnpike at the location 1316 where a suspect from the surveillance video threw a brick through the front door. Then broke into the location and removed cash.

The suspect was last seen on foot toward the Hempstead Turnpike.

Detectives are asking anyone who has information on this incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
