After shoe repairman next is bank robbery in Long Island City

The NYPD reported a bank robbery at a local Chase Bank in Long Island City. The incident was reported this afternoon around 2pm at Queens Plaza by 24th Street. The suspect passed a note and took off with cash presumed over $2,000.

This is the latest robbery in the area.

On Friday around 2pm, a long time shoe repair man was robbed of $800 cash in the same vicinity. Police stated a suspect, female, black, with scissors went inside a local shoe repair store on Broadway near 43rd Street and robbed the victim.

EMS reported no injuries to both incidents.

So far no arrests.
