Brooklyn man arrested for grand larceny in somers

The Somers Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and uniform members have arrested Vadim E. Farmakis, 38, of Brooklyn, New York, following an investigation into a grand larceny that occurred at Heritage Hills Society LTD in the Town of Somers.

In December 2023, a check belonging to Heritage Hills Society in the amount of $23,187.01 was stolen, altered, and deposited into an account held by Farmakis. Subsequent withdrawals totaling $22,000 were made from the account.
