Bike lanes set for Bayside vicinity

The Community Board 11 rejected the bike lanes but NYC Dept of Transportation is moving ahead with the plan. Also local residents objected but the city fell on deaf ears despite the vote was no.

The newly bike lanes for 5 miles will start the construction in the coming weeks.

This is the list,

26th Avenue from Utopia Parkway to Bell Boulevard.

Corporal Kennedy Street from 26th to 33rd avenues.

53rd Avenue from Underhill Avenue to Oceania Street.

Oceania Street from 46th Avenue to the Horace Harding Expressway.

46th Avenue from Oceana Street to Cloverdale Boulevard.
