Bell Blvd closed after pedestrian struck by vehicle

Police are on Bell Blvd and 48 Avenue in Bayside reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle. EMS is on the scene. The driver remains on the scene and is cooperating with the police. Ongoing investigation.
Update - The driver of Lyft, Toyota Camry is under investigation since the 74 year female pedestrian was not in the crosswalk when the incident happened. She is in stable condition at a local hospital.
