Assault investigation after slashing at the same subway station in Queens

After a tourist was slashed in the same subway station in Long Island City, this time another attack occurred. A suspect, male, black struck a victim with a metal pipe. The victim was standing on the platform when the stranger with a metal pipe started a dispute at the same station. The incident occurred on Saturday around 1am at the Long Island City Queens Plaza subway station.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.

NYPD added more patrol at the same station after those incidents.
