Armed robbery by the local restaurant in Corona

The NYPD is outside the local eatery reporting armed robbery in Queens. This is on the corner of Corona Avenue and 106 Street in Corona. Police say this was involving a grand larceny targeting a female victim who was outside the eatery by a couple swapping jewelry. Then took off toward unknown direction in a black SUV. EMS is checking for injuries but reported emotionally shaken.

The same crime is reported in NYC by scammers approaching with sweet talks by swapping jewelry from victims with fake ones.

A witness say the victim was heading to the eatery when the crime occurred and ran inside for help.

So far no arrests.
