Armed robbery at 7 11 in Massapequa

Seventh Squad Detectives report the details of a Robbery that occurred on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 1:04 am in Massapequa.

According to detectives, a male entered the 7-11 located at 4222 Sunrise Highway with a knife. The subject jumped over the counter and attempted to use the knife to pry the register open. He was unsuccessful and threw the register to the floor, causing it to open. The subject removed an undisclosed amount of US currency and fled westbound on Sunrise Highway.

The subject is described as a male white. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a grey/white baseball hat.
