Armed robberies continue to plague downtown Flushing

The NYPD continues to report armed robberies in downtown Flushing. The latest incident was reported this afternoon on 37th Avenue across the parking lot at the local retail store.

Last night around 9pm around closing time, two suspects wearing all black with masks entered a location on Farrington Street near 33rd Avenue and one displayed a weapon.

The suspects took off with $6,000 cash.

A local store owner says the suspects are targeting after being temporarily hired to work surveys the place.

Last week, four commercial locations were robbed and the suspects took off with cash.

EMS reported no physical injuries but there were plenty of emotional breakdowns.

The investigation continues.
