Armed bank robbery in Astoria

Police reported an armed bank robbery in Astoria. The incident was reported around 3pm today. This is at 25-91 Steinway Street. Police described the suspect as male, Asian Indian, 5'6" wearing a white mask, a Mets cap wearing a Columbia jacket in brown color displaying a weapon while passing a note demanding cash.

The teller complied.

There were no injuries to workers at the bank.
