Almost 1 000 people struck by vehicle in NYC

NYPD released their stat on pedestrians either injured or dead after struck by vehicle. For the month of January, there were close to 1,000 pedestrians got hit by vehicles.

The stat also includes bicyclists.

From the stat, Queens had 257 pedestrian injuries compared to 225 of last year of January 2018.

The death also increased compared to last year.

As part of Vision Zero, the mayor's office will continue to add bike lanes, narrow lanes, small concrete slots for benches and etc.
