All three dead from the LIRR crash identified

The three people dead inside the truck were identified. They are Saul Martinez Caravantes, 28, Miguel Angel Jimenez Luna, 36 and Jesus Hernandez. Hernandez's identification is pending confirmation from the medical examiner.

They were employed at Fine Fare Supermarket in Westbury. After work, they went to a barber shop and then to a local bar before leaving for home to their families. The supermarket is now collecting funds for their funerals.

Martinez was the driver and had involved in a minor fender bender for which he didn't stop but took off.

When they were at the LIRR crossing, they sped off passing the gate while the light was red.

That's when two trains hit the truck resulting all three dead from the impact.

The investigation is continuing.
