All lanes closed on the SSP due to fatality

The SCPD is on the Southern State Parkway eastbound reporting all lanes closed due to a vehicle accident involving a motorcyclist who died on the scene.

This is by Exit 43 in Islip, Suffolk County.

ESU is working on the scene along with the medical examiner to transport the body to conduct an autopsy.

EMS is checking for injuries to all involved.

Heavy delays all around including westbound due to onlookers.
