A worst news for a family in Queens in time of Christmas

The NYPD reported a female in distress was found dead near the local LaGuardia Airport. A local witness says the victim jumped from the service road of the Grand Central Parkway westbound near the marina yesterday around 8pm during traffic. Shortly, another report confirmed the victim was struck by a vehicle on the parkway and later died.

The medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death. The Highway CIS continues to work on the scene.

The victim's family has been notified of the incident.

The investigation continues.
