A pedestrian struck by vehicle died in Little Neck

Police reported a couple, 81 year old female and her husband, an 84 year old man were crossing a street in Little Neck when a vehicle struck both of them.

It happened on February 5 around 6pm on 63rd Avenue and 251 Street.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital where the female victim died around midnight. Her husband is in stable condition.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police. No charges has been filed and the investigation is ongoing.
