A new law starts in NYC for tenants related to construction

Starting Thursday, December 28, building owners must notify tenants in advance with written permit of construction work inside. This includes co-op and condo. According to NYC Dept of Building, the law is for safety and health of the occupants during construction. All the construction to be done must be outlined after approval with permits.
