8 year old suffered broken leg after hit and run incident in Valley Stream

Police reported a hit and run in Valley Stream on Sunday around 1:30pm striking an 8 year old girl who was in the alleyway of a home on Dartmouth Street. The girl was playing when the suspect struck the victim and then took off. EMS transported the girl with a broken leg.

On Monday afternoon, police arrested the driver, a 52 year old male. Charged with slew of charges this afternoon.
