250 000 for one letter Z

It was a spelling mistake but taxpayers has the money. NY Governor Cuomo signed the legislation to change the name of Verrazano Narrows Bridge connecting Staten Island to Brooklyn to Verrazzano with an addition of Z. The budget according to the Governor's office is about $250,000 to change the name everywhere by adding another Z. There are 96 signs that needs to be changed.

The bridge is named after the Italian explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano when it was built in 1964.
