1 2 billion project of Van Wyck Expressway wants your input

The NYS Dept of Transportation is inviting the public for feedback on the plan to revamp Van Wyck Expressway between JFK and the Kew Gardens Interchange.

An extra lane for HOV is in the work.

There are two dates for the events. Wednesday, February 27 at 172-17 Linden Blvd from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and Thursday, February 28 at 153-10 Jamaica Avenue from 4 to 8pm.

The event is open to the public. Alternatively, the public can send plans to vwe@dot.ny.gov or mail to Van Wyck Expressway Project Team, NYS Dept of Transportation, 47-40 21 Street, LIC, NY 11101.
