Young man riding a skateboard shot in the leg in Queens

A 25 year old skateboarder in Queens crashed into a BMW in Queens, which caused a fight with the driver and a passenger. Police reported he suffered serious injury after he was shot in the leg during the dispute with one of the individuals.  The incident occurred near 39th Place and 47th Ave. in Sunnyside at about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday. The suspects fled the scene. No arrests at this time. Ongoing investigation.
