World Car Free Day

Major cities in the world will have car free day by leaving their cars at home and use a bike or walk on September 22. Sometimes mass transportation generated by electric transports. For NYC, the event was held last April 27. For Long Island, the event will be held on September 20. This is the 7th year for Long Island. According to Car Free Day Long Island, 7,325 residents pledged to be car free or car lite by saving 145,000 miles of driving and 73 tons of CO2 emissions.
