Williston Park resident busted for terroristic threat

The NCPD reports the arrest of a Williston Park man for making a terroristic threat which occurred on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm in Albertson. According to detectives, Goran Preda, 42 years old, while on phone with Meadow Drive School officials expressed his desire to conduct a violent act toward them. School officials immediately initiated the school lockdown protocol and contacted 911. A thorough investigation was conducted and the defendant was arrested without incident. The subject is charged with making a terroristic Threat and will be arraigned on Friday, April 9, 2021 at First District Court, Hempstead.
