Weekend delay for Jamaica Avenue due to festivals

Friday, August 5 from 6pm onward there will be a festival at the Rufus King Park on Jamaica Avenue between 150 and 153 Streets.

Then on Saturday, Jamaica Avenue will be closed from Parsons Blvd to 170th Street from 10am to 6pm due to the JAMS festival. Over 400 multicultural food and merchandise vendors will be at the event. Open to the public.

Drivers are advised to use alternate traffic including for the AirTran and airport routes.
