The largest retailer, Walmart is adding over 4,000 robots to stores nationwide which will handle floor cleaning to scan inventories which are currently done by humans. The robots are called smart assistants. The technology, AI called Artificial Intelligence is on the rise adding automation to many businesses eliminating human workforce to focus on customer services. One impression the company announced is robots carrying stock from the truck to the actual shelf by monitoring inventory. At the same time, another robot remove the item from the shelf for purchase.
