Violence interrupters are running away from love

The NYC Mayor's Office stated any calls from 311 or 911 involving incidents that need to be brought under control without weapons can be dealt with violence interrupters. However, anyone with weapons in hands must be dealt with by the NYPD.

Now comes the best part. If violence interrupters are performing their duties and being assaulted by anyone during the incident, charges will not be filed. This is in parallel to the NYPD under people resisting arrest which is causing controversies in the city.

Now read this, if violence interrupter assault someone during the incident, jail is waiting with pending charges.

The job is to sit down and talk without checking for weapons with love.

The city has raised the stake with salaries to hire more violence interrupters despite the resistance from many in applying and others running away from the jobs.

So if you want to be a violence interrupter, join the local non profit organization or apply directly with the city and the pay is good.
