Victim robbed while walking in Elmont

The NCPD reports the details of a robbery that occurred at 10:55pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Elmont.

According to detectives, the male victim, 37, was walking eastbound on Hempstead Turnpike at Savoy Avenue when he was approached by three unknown males, wearing all black clothing with their faces covered. The males grabbed and pushed the victim against the side of a building and removed his personal belongings from his pockets and his backpack. The three suspects fled on foot southbound on Claridge Avenue. Proceeds included a cellular telephone, credit cards, headphones and personal papers. No injuries were reported.
