Vehicle crashes on Nassau County facing delays to events

Just now Wantagh State Parkway is facing delays due to a vehicle accident with injuries. This is by Hempstead Turnpike Exit W3 involving a single crash when it hit the pole.

There are several locations related to events on Long Island delayed due to vehicle accidents. The FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach was delayed due to a vehicle crash on Ocean Parkway around 8:30am this morning near the water tower.

As of now, traffic is clearing up and police are opening up the parking lots for the public.

Last night around 6pm, Old Country Road was closed due to an overturned vehicle by School Street.

All incidents remain under investigation.
